Quran Learning

Madrasatunnur Educational Trust (Charity Number: 1101074) currently delivers its teaching and community activities from the Convent Way Community Centre, which we rent as a dedicated space for learning, worship, and wider educational programmes. Through this facility, we provide structured opportunities for children and young people to learn the Qur’an and understand Islam in a safe and supportive environment.

Established in 2003 in response to the growing Muslim community in Hounslow and the surrounding areas, the Trust was founded to meet the increasing demand for structured Qur’an learning and Islamic studies. From the outset, the Madrasah has aimed to create a nurturing setting where young people can develop knowledge, character, and a strong connection to their faith.

Over the years, the Madrasah has educated hundreds of boys and girls, equipping them not only to recite the Qur’an but to understand its meanings and live by Islamic principles in their daily lives. Our objective extends beyond classroom instruction; we seek to cultivate confident, responsible, and socially conscious individuals who contribute positively to wider society.

We recognise that parents are the primary educators in shaping Islamic values within the home. The Madrasah therefore acts as a complementary partner, reinforcing faith, discipline, and moral responsibility. Supporting young people to balance their Islamic identity with their British identity remains an ongoing responsibility. Through guidance, mentorship, and positive role modelling, we aim to provide firm foundations that enable our students to embrace Islam as a conscious and principled way of life.
