Funeral Service

The Funeral Scheme Fund is established to provide support to registered members of Madrasatunnur Educational Trust and their immediate family members, subject to the rules and conditions set by the Trust. Eligibility, scope of support, and any financial assistance provided are determined by the Trustees and may be reviewed periodically.

In the event of a bereavement, the Trust will offer guidance and coordination support relating to funeral arrangements. This may include advice on faith-appropriate practices, liaison with relevant community contacts, and signposting to funeral directors or other appropriate services.

Support under the scheme may also include pastoral and community assistance during the bereavement period. This support is non-commercial, discretionary, and provided in good faith, taking into account individual circumstances and available resources.

All support provided under the Funeral Scheme will be delivered in accordance with Islamic principles, local authority requirements, and applicable UK laws and regulations. The Trustees reserve the right to interpret and apply these rules to ensure fairness, sustainability, and compliance with the Trust’s charitable objectives.
