Welcome to Madrasatunnur

Madrasatunnur Educational Trust was established in 2003 in response to the growing Muslim community in Hounslow and the increasing demand for Qur’an and Islamic studies for children. Over the years, Madrasatunnur has educated hundreds of boys and girls, equipping them with the knowledge to understand their religion, live by its teachings, and contribute positively to society.

We recognise that parents play a crucial role in instilling Islamic morals and values in their children. However, we understand that parents can only do so much. This is where the Madrassah plays a vital role in nurturing Islamic values in our youth. At the same time, we acknowledge the challenges young Muslims face in balancing their Islamic identity with their British identity.

Our aim is to help Muslim students appreciate and understand Islam—its rich heritage, principles, values, and teachings. We aspire for Madrasatunnur to serve as a stepping stone for our young people, guiding them to embrace Islam as the chosen path for their lives. Our success will be truly realised when, years from now, these youths reflect and say: “Thank you, you made a difference in my life!”
